Shafin Shabir

I am a PhD candidate in Economics and Econometrics at CERGE-EI, a joint workplace of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where I am supervised by Jan Zapal.​ 

 

​From April to June, I was visiting the Department of Economics and Economic History at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, hosted by Mikhail Drugov.

My research interests are in Political Economy and Applied Theory. 
 

I am on the 2026-2027 Academic Job Market.
